"Me", Revised

On February 6, 2010, I described myself like this...

I'm a Midwest girl living in New York City. I've always loved Henry David Thoreau's quote "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined." So, after many years working in Finance, I'm looking forward to leaving the cubicle someday and finally living the life that I've imagined. This is what I do in the meantime...

Two and a half years later, that "someday" is today.

Here's a picture my (now former) co-worker called "Last Graph"...

A real estate broker is coming tomorrow, and the movers are coming Friday morning.  By Saturday night I will (hopefully!) be living the life that I've imagined.

So, now...

Beauty and the Beach

What does an apron have to do with the beach?

Absolutely nothing.

Except, in this case...

It is cute, though...

And it was only $5 at Goodwill.

I'm going to use it as a template to make other cute (non-beach baby-y) aprons.

Sigh.

Hopefully my friend at Lemons & Chambray had better luck than I did!
